(The Sea Goat)
		Capricornus seems to be the representation of a mythological creature but in fact it is a story of the god Pan, who on his attempt to escape the monstrous Typhon, jumped into the river Nile and the part of him that was submerged turned into a fish's tail. This seems like an unfortunate consequence for a great hero.
			M30:
		At 26 000 light years away, this nearby globular cluster has a very condensed core with thousands of stars. Some of these stars are variable. Variable stars are a special type of star whose brightness fluctuates, sometimes it is bright and sometimes it is faint. A famous variable star is Mira the Wonderful in Cetus.
		M30 is a beautiful but unpopular cluster due to its southernly latitude.
